Great turnout for the Lanimer Winter Parade tonight.

Streets mobbed, and 7 Lanimer Lorries took part, supported by the Lord Cornets’ Club, Lanark and District Pipe Band, Scottish Equi Centre and Bathgate Brass Band.

Only our second year, and going from strength to strength!

With just over a week to go – we are very excited to announce the line-up for this year’s Lanimer Winter Parade.

Led by Lord Cornet Gordon Jess on Horseback carrying the Royal Burgh Standard and Lanimer Queen Morgan Shillan in an illumined car, no fewer than 7 of our Lanimer Sponsors will be showcasing their Lanimer Lorries as you have never seen them before in our fantastic illuminated parade.

Music entertainment will be provided by Lanark & District Pipe Band and Bathgate Brass Band, with the parade finished off with some seasonal cheer with Santa’s Christmas Train.

As part of ‘Late Night Lanark’ shopping event you can also take the opportunity to kick start you Christmas shopping and support out local businesses.

It might only be November, but preparations are well underway at the Lanark Lanimer Committee for next year’s Lanimer Celebrations.

In advance of the selection of members of next year’s Lanimer Court (scheduled for a ‘Top Secret’ date in January 2017) – consent forms have been distributed to our local schools for all interested in being put forward to the draw.

Should your child be interested in participating in next year’s Lanimer Court – can we request that completed forms are returned by no later than Monday 19th December.

News – 2016 Winter Lanimer Procession

If you are in Lanark on the evening of Friday 25 November, come along to the High Street at 6:30pm and see our spectacular illuminated procession. Many of the 2016 Lanimer entries will be taking part, transformed with lights and a few festive twists ! Look out for the 2016 principals in the parade and in addition we’re delighted to have both the Lanark and District Pipe Band and Bathgate Brass Band taking part this year.

The procession is part of Late Night Lanark 2016 so many of Lanark’s shops will also be open during and after the parade with some offering complimentary drinks and snacks.
A trial winter procession took place at last years Late Night Lanark and was highly successful so hopefully this can become an annual event offering you a second chance to celebrate Lanimers.

£1000 Jackpot Draw at Lanark Christmas Market

Once again the Silver Club will be making the draw for the December £1000 jackpot prize live on stage at the Lanark Christmas market. Join us at the foot of the High Street just after 4pm on Saturday 19 November to find out if you have had one of the best early Christmas presents around.

The Annual Subscription for 2017 is still only £10.00 per ticket. THE JACKPOT PRIZE IN JUNE WILL AGAIN BE A MASSIVE £5,000 CASH! SPLIT 5 WAYS TO MAKE 5 SEPARATE WINNERS OF £1.000 EACH. And, of course, there are over 240 cash prizes every year varying from £100 to £10.

All our usual membership renewal methods are available so if you already pay by Standing Order or Direct Debit you don’t need to do anything. We’ll be sending out a separate mailshot to our Postal Members. If you paid online last year (or wish to this year), simply log in to your account at www.lanimersilverclub.co.uk and go to your ‘My Tickets’ page.

Annual Direct Debit

Pay for some or all your tickets by Annual Direct Debit and we’ll keep your membership up to date automatically. Our payment provider, GoCardless, holds your details securely and notifies you in advance of each payment. Your payments are protected by the Direct Debit guarantee.

You can also renew your tickets using a Credit or Debit card using our Paypal payments page.

How to Renew …

Online

Register your tickets on our website at www.lanimersilverclub.co.uk/register (if you haven’t already done so). All you will need are a few contact details and the security codes from your 2016 tickets. Note that you only need to go through the registration process once. You can then add the rest of your tickets to that account using just their security codes.

Once the tickets are registered to your account, you can renew by Direct Debit or with a Credit/Debit card or Paypal via the ‘My Tickets’ page

Tickets

Our website allows you to print any tickets linked to your account. If you have tickets that you normally send as a gift and wish us to send you printed tickets as in previous years then simply send us an email and we’ll pop them in the post to you.

It’s just a little over 2 weeks until our Lanimer Winter Parade at 6.30pm on the 25th of November as part of the Late Night Lanark shopping event.

We are pleased to announce that this years parade will be bigger than ever – with 7 of our Lanimer Sponsors showcasing their 2016 entries in our illuminated parade.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Lanark and District Pipe Band and we are pleased to announce that we will also be joined by Bathgate Brass Band.

Our 2016 Lord Cornet Gordon Jess will be also be joining the parade on horseback with some of his Ex Lord Cornet supporters.

There will also be an appearance of some special Seasonal guests courtesy of Goudlings Winter Wonderland!
