The first meeting of the Lanimer Court for 2024 took place on Friday night, where members and their families were provided with information by the Lanark Lanimer Committee and the Court Committee in particular.
Lord Cornet Elect Kevin McNally was also in attendance to extend his congratulations to all who had been selected, and he looked forward to getting to know them better over the next few months.
During the meeting the remaining roles for the P7 Boys were confirmed as follows:

The Lanark Lanimer Committee is delighted to announce that Morgan Dunn from Stanmore House School has been selected as the Flower Bearer for 2024.
The Lanark Lanimer Committee is delighted to announce that Kai Fairley from Lanark Grammar School has been selected as the Lanimer Champion for 2024.
The Lanark Lanimer Committee is delighted to announce that Sasha Gardiner from New Lanark Primary School has been selected as the Lanimer Queen Elect for 2024.
Kevin McNally, Lord Cornet Elect for 2024, moved to Lanark with his wife Lis and son Oscar in 2008, with daughter Evie being born in 2010.
When their children attended Robert Owen Memorial Primary School, Kevin and Lis became involved in preparations for Lanimers and helped build their Lanimer Lorry for several years.
Joining Lanark & District Round Table in 2016, and as a Past Chairman, he helped support the local community through charitable donations and various events.
Kevin already has some experience of the equestrian events of Lanimer Week, having driven one of the quad bikes during Ride Outs in recent years.
