Looking Back and Moving Forward

The Lanimer Committee together with our friends from the Lanark Museum had a lovely afternoon at our recent Looking Back and Moving Forward event. The shared vision and values of both organisations shone through and fun was had by all.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to come along and share their Lanimer memories with us, to all who supported the event with donations and raffle prizes, and to the local businesses who helped in the promotion of the event and the selling of tickets.

With grateful thanks,

The Joint Organising Committee

Sad News – Ex Lord Cornet Iain McLauchlan

It is with great sadness that The Lord Cornets’ Club and the Lanark Lanimer Committee have to announce that Ex Lord Cornet Iain McLauchlan passed away this morning.

Lord Cornet in 1980, Iain was also an Emeritus Member of the Lanimer Committee.

Once funeral arrangements are known, the relevant details will be provided.

Our thoughts are with Agnes and her family at this sad time.
