We are all set for tomorrow’s (Friday 22 November) Lanimer Illuminated Winter Parade, starting at 6.30pm on Ladyacre Road, with many local groups participating and supporting Late Night Lanark. There will be a special visit from Santa in his carriage after the parade, who will be outside the Tolbooth for requests and photos, from around 7.15pm.
Coalburn Silver Band will also be playing in this area, so grab a warm drink and gather to enjoy the Friday night street entertainment and keep the festive fun going.
A revised running order is as follows:
- Lanark and District Pipe Band
- Freya – Stilt Walker
- Lanark Lord Cornets Club
- Lanimer Queen, Lacey Steele, and Chief Maids, Jessica Smith and Aimee Watson in a horse drawn carriage
- The Burgh Belles with Crowning Lady, Cheryl Reilly
- Lanark Eagles and Lanark Rugby Club
- Pebble Patch and Friends
- Kirkfield United Football Club
- Coalburn Silver Band
